"Alas! The dreaded Mrs. Jones, in her black sailed ship of doom! Ship of terror! Ship of bones! It's the S.S. CLEAN YOUR ROOM!" I liked this quote because the whole book is through the imagination of the children's mind. It shows how they view chores and their longing to just keep having fun. The book also rhythms and would be great for a read aloud! http://mocomi.com/history-of-pirates/ #UCFLAE3414sp17
