really enjoyed this, it kept me reading to the end and a great little twist at the end. definitely recommend
this finally arrived in the library after reserving it a while ago. train journey to London is a great excuse to get into this. can't wait
just finished this book and although it wasn't as gritty and scandalous as I hoped, it was still a good read. very different from the dystopian books of Margaret Attwoods I have read before which I must admit I prefer. but nonetheless she did a good job!
just finished listening to this and loved it. Michael Caine is one of my favourite actors and listening to this makes you love him more
just finished reading this and really enjoyed it. I didn't think I would like this retelling with cyborgs but it really brought a nice twist to this all familiar tale. great read!!
Just finished reading this book and wow is it twisted and pretty crazy. I thought it might be a book where j would eventually understand or kinda like the main character but nope hated her so much.
Such a clever retelling, it's the first Shakespeare retelling I have read and was very impressed at how well she portrayed each character and how cleverly she interwove an actual play of the tempest with the retelling. it was basically a book within a play within a play, spell binding!!
Another great book from the chaos walking trilogy although it's so frustrating how he does such a good job at leaving a cliff hanger that you feel you have to read the next one asap.
It hasn't been much of a reading week this week as have been busy looking after the other half after his op but finally have time to finish this great book!
so looks like today will be spent waiting around in the hospital, luckily not for me but for my partner . But at least it means I can get on with the next book in the series
just finished this book and absolutely loved it and the ending oh wow what an epic and scary ending
must put down book. it's nearly midnight and i have work tomorrow. damn all this adulting. night guys x
Here goes... let's see what this series is like.
I literally just finished this book and oh my god I sobbed so bad. It is a beautiful story and i love the characters but wow did I weep. if you read this keep tissues nearby
Really enjoying reading some YA books. I forgot just how good they can be and this one is quite beautiful.
finished this book yesterday and really enjoyed it. loved the characters and setting. nice relief having previously read Stephen king. I forgot how much I love chick lit sometimes
Got to admit actually really enjoying this book. the chick lit side of me always seems to emerge from time to time and this one has got me hooked
I have seen so many people on here reading this I thought I would give it a go.
Thought i would start this one before getting some sleep. Accompanied by my favourite companion, Rambo who is already drifting off to the land of nod.
Just finished reading this and loved every minute of it. It grabs your attention right at the start and keeps you reading til the end. great story and much preferred it to his other book horns. would definitely recommend it if you like your horrors and thrillers
Reading this at the moment and absolutely hooked much more so than I was with Horns.
switching between two books, I always like to have a lighter one if I am reading an intense book and my other book right now is the Iliad so this is my little breather haha
when you are trying to read but your dog has other ideas. sigh
For mine and my other half' s two year anniversary he bought this beautiful copy of Homer. started reading the Iliad today and really getting into it
Started a new book tonight. one I have been looking forward to for a while!!!
Just finished it and I have to admit it kept me gripped through it all. loved the story line and characters and will definitely check out the film!!
a bit of reading before getting out of bed? yeah why not. love bank holiday weekends.
today's read. enjoying it so far!!
loved this book, brilliant twist at the end. This is a really heart warming book at times and will keep you engaged throughout.
This evening's reading before bed. really enjoying it, I love how Eleanor appears to be a simple character but with a complex and dark past, great read so far!!
I love the rizzoli and isles series of books and this one definitely didn't disappoint loved it from start to finish
really enjoying this book so far. Jodi Picoult never fails to pull at your heart strings
I enjoyed this book but I much preferred the road. first book of 2019 and not a bad start!!!
looking for an online book club to chat and make friends. is anyone here a member of one I can join? would love to talk to fellow book worms more
really enjoyed this book. it was the perfect mixture of romance, festive fun and a few little twists. I really like how the main character was a lot deeper and had quite a dark background compared to a lot of chick lit. I finished this book today whilst in bed with the flu and couldn't recommend it more as a festive read. Merry Christmas everyone!!
loved this book it was just what I needed, a festive easy soppy read with a happy ending. very lovely like able characters and that all important hottie you all secretly want.
Just finished Terry Pratchett's sourcery and now time for some festive reading. Can't wait!!!
absolutely loved this book although it's one of those rare times i don't know whether I preferred the book or film as Liam Neeson did an amazing job as the monster. nonetheless a great book very moving, great characters and nice pace
