Wow. Just started reading this. Baffling and amazing that it is basically #adrianmole half a century before it was written. Teenage boys are always the same, the world over!
Halfway through, more nuanced than I expected. Occasionally a bit pretentious, but, ultimately, telling a great story.
Great book. Runs the full range of the dystopian world he has created, whilst also putting in a great plot. Some lovely touches of characterisation, and the inter generational conflict almost sounded too real.
