Awesome creepiness! Dual time, 1910 and present day. Two women are trying to solve murders in their time era that could possibly be connected.

Very intense book. Love the way Brown interweaves spiritual truths with fiction thereby challenging my spiritual growth. Can be read as a stand alone but highly recommend reading the others first.
Enthralling. Tackles grief in story form. Challenging at times yet moments of laughter as well. Walks through devastation with Mara yet hope is intertwined.
Interesting to see how the characters struggle individually and grow together.
Suspense filled throughout. Didnt want to put it down. Ordered the next one in the series.
Split time novel about 2 women, one in the late 1920's and the other today, trying to find themselves. Mystery and suspense. Great read.
Cynthia does a great job telling a story about hoarding. So interesting and written in a manner that is so sensitive yet she appropriately includes humor. Fantastic book.
Such an interesting topic...hoarding. The author captured the essence of the struggle for all persons involved, the hoarder, their family and loved ones, neighbors, and the therapist. I laughed at the snippets of humor and cried at the depth of pain portrayed. A must read.
Awesome book. Split time. A favorite suspense novel. Tells the story of 2 females trying to find their place in the world. One struggles with where she came from and the other struggles with estrangement from family. All while chasing "ghosts" at the Bonaventure Circus home base.
Interesting fictional description of Manasseh's life. Intense but loved it!
Historical novel about a families life after the Chicago fire. Very well researched and informative. Love reading history in fiction form.
Max Cavanaugh is a man you love to hate, the epitome of a jerk combined with anger and substance abuse issues. Meanwhile Hadley Beckett is the poster girl for an easy going the Southern sweetheart.
The story line is fresh and funny. At times Max and Hadley's interactions were laugh out loud funny. They are required to work together after their disastrous competition which makes for the interesting story.
Loved this book. Felt like Pearl (main character) became my best childhood friend.
I love suspense and unpredictability. This book has it. Split time novel involving a grandmother and her granddaughter and how they work through resolution of an unsolved murder and the grief with which they struggled.
Great romcom! Thoroughly enjoyed it. I laughed, I cried, and I laughed again. I could see the book in movie form through my entire reading. Author also not afraid to address touchy issues. Recommend it!
