Fabulous second book! I was thrilled about the character development, especially with Ronan Lynch. I keep thinking I have the twists pegged, but Maggie Stiefvater has not failed to surprise me yet 💜

Fantastic characters, great plot, and excellent writing. I'm totally hooked. On to book two!

Oh, and something I really liked about this one--the 20 something character isn't cast as a total adult if that makes sense. He's not indistinguishable from characters twice his age and I appreciate that. Just something I always want to see more of!

I think this book would have been a pick for me without the prologue. Moving through the story without knowing where it was going, especially with a story that relies so heavily on mystery and anticipation, would have made it much more enjoyable for me. Wasn't a huge fan of the main character, but overall the book was engaging and worth the time. Great Halloween read 🎃

I like the concept more than the book, but it was a fun read for the most part. Good for people who like supernatural adventures and spooky atmospheres.
