Heard about this in a writing podcast and immediately bought it. Although it's in first person, which I tend not to like, I really enjoyed this one, save a few moments here and there (which I understand were necessary for character development).

My newest read! I promised a friend I haven't spoken to in a decade that I would read this series, and I'm finally getting around to it.
I really like this one! It got bogged down after the time jump, but the first half would have worked really well as a stand alone. Still recommend!
Just over halfway through this one. Super invested, very much against one of the characters who I don't like, but I keep reminding myself that the second half jumps 5000 years in the future. So...don't have to worry about that person much longer. Hope to finish by the weekend!
"The moon blew up without warning and for no apparent reason."
Seveneves is off to a great start already.
NEXT DAY EDIT: This is the only time I can recall where I've chosen to wake up early on a Saturday to read, rather than sleep in half the day. 187 pages in!
Although I predicted the ending of this a little over halfway through, I really enjoyed Sharp Objects. The tone of the book was entrancing, and all the details were terrifying and perfect. I definitely recommend this one.
Definitely picking up on the subtle building of horror throughout the first half of this one. Seeing how all the smaller details of things that seem unrelated to plot contribute to the overall aura of this book is stunning. I'm excited and anxious to see where this all ends up!
