Absolutely loved this book. Took awhile to become acquainted with Kaz Brekker, his world and gang of misfits but, once in there was no going back.

This was a fun, quick read full of magic and wonder set in Victorian times.

Jake our main protagonist is a boy who finds himself on a crazy adventure to the North Pole in order to have his Christmas wish granted in exchange for the return of pesky elf Humbug.

This book is definitely set for children but great for adults too who are seeking a bit of Christmas magic for themselves.
