Graphica. These series is from the creator of the Captain underpants series. It is about a crimefighting half man half dog. I myself am not a big fan of graphica but I enjoyed the idea of a crime fighting dog man. I also really like the illustrations and action that was present throughout the book.

Traditional. Great take on the classic. The illustrations are what really make this retelling far different from any of the other retelling that you have seen over and over. The illustrations are extremely detailed and you feel like you are taken back in time to the old time of the story.
Nonficiton. This book poses questions about the wind and gets young ones thinking in scientific ways without it being a sometimes scary thing of “science“. This book has colorful illustrations and fun activities that really bring the reader in and keep them engaged.

Poetry, The is a free verse piece written in a diary format. It starts out in more short and resistant sentences but grows to be more refined by the end because the more that the boy writes the more that he learns he has to say.

Poetry. Another vey well known poetry book. I remember reading this book when I was younger and coming back to it know as I am a little older holds even more meaning. These poems are written for children and I think that they can get a lot of meaning from them but its just different coming back to them as an adult.
