The Edgy Veg Cookbook has been fantastic so far! Easy-to-follow recipes with pretty standard ingredients. These gnocchi were a bit time consuming but only 2 ingredients: really! All recipes are vegan. I made a baked mac n‘ cheese using a cheese sauce of which potatoes and carrots make the base. Sooo yummy! Having made a double batch, I have used the cheese sauce on nachos and as a dip for cauliflower. I definitely recommend this cookbook. #vegan
Fuss-Free Vegan is an easy-to-follow vegan cookbook with tips and tricks for time-saving techniques and substitutions. Sam Turnbull‘s online presence is so BIG; she‘s just a cheerleader for happy vegan cooking with readily-available ingredients. I swear by the chocolate cookie recipe! 🍪 It‘s a definite must-have for the cookbook collector/reader. #vegan #cookbook #itdoesnttastelikechicken
A boy at Yale becomes obsessed with a girl so much that he takes things way too far to be closer to her - cheating, lying, using friends. But there's a truth that he discovers about her that ultimately causes him to take things to a point of no return.
My newly picked up foster kitty is listening to the next to last disc of Picoult's well-written book. This kitty is a small great thing. #jodipicoult #adoptdontshop #readmeastory
I love to read cookbooks. even though I am now vegan, I still love to read all kinds of cookbooks. O stumbled upon Molly on the Range on Hoopla while not being able to sleep and wanting to look at something light that I could skip pages. Part Memoir, part cookbook, mostly all funny and endearing, this was worth the download. I'd like to have brunch with Molly, and I'll probably try her recipe foe scallion pancakes...we share that guilty pleasure.
Getting around to this because I need something spectacular now. #nationalbookawardfinalist #yabooks #librarian

Penny is such a bright spot. A strong young feminist voice that does what she's got to in order to make it to the next day. She is quirky, witty, awkward, brave, strong, romantic, and caring. #graphicnovel #strongfemale #humor #youngadult
"You can look around and there's not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see."
Just started and am on page 83, but I look forward to having time to read later.
paranormal, eerie, isolated, twins, mystery: it's worth a read if these words appeal to your reading sensibilities.
Thank heavens that Miyoko Schinner created Miyoko's Kitchen vegan foods - the vegan butter is phenomenal and a staple in my house. be sure to take the time to make the vegan "ribs" and homemade bbq sauce.
A YA novel with a bittersweet story about teen parenthood. A teen father, who was deeply in love with the teen mother, embarks on a journey to locate the child that he was not given the right to have as a teen dad. Heartfelt.
A superbly done graphic novel giving a water-level viewpoint of the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
I know it was touted as a must-read, but I couldn't fully accept the book once I was finished. It is a surrealistic read in my opinion. Artsy and dark.
A recommended YA read; particularly interesting because it is written by a decedent of Cotton Mather. High School bullying, Salem Witch trials, historical fiction, paranormal, romance...this book has a bit of everything.
Book 2 in the Thatch Series, I really thought that Molly McAdams wrote this with authenticity. the subject matter centers around an abusive relationship, so there is a tension I felt as a reader, that kept me reading until the conclusion.
