Walking in the park, listening to my audiobook, before the rain this afternoon.
A coworker recommended this audiobook to me, so I went in blind and WOW. This is definitely worth listening to, as music is integral to the story and the production does a great job at incorporating it. I was first afraid that I had stumbled into a depressing WWII book that would have too many parallels to what is happening in the US right now, but was completely charmed and am glad I kept with it.
While the writing was undeniably good, the main character was beyond obnoxious and pretentious - the kind of person you‘re constantly rolling your eyes at.
It was fine - The photo editor stinks on here!
I was engaged, just wasn‘t my favorite book.
