I decided to reread this series for the feels and the comfort. The first book is probably my favorite and I really enjoyed this reread. If you haven‘t read this series you totally should! It is just amazing and has so many components to each book.

This book was just ok. I really wanted to love it because the concept was amazing. In the beginning I was really liking it but about half way through I started to like it less and less until I realized that the only thing I cared about was the romance. I did not care for the main character and the villain was just annoying honestly. The romance had epic chemistry and was the only reason this book did not get a lower rating from me.
I really liked this book! Was not as good as the first one, but it was still really enjoyable. Major plot twist at the end that I did not see coming! I can‘t wait to read the next one.
I really liked this book! Set in the world of Cinderella, Sophia lives 200 years after Cinderella‘s death. But the story that her entire society is based on is not what it seems. I read a Goodreads review that describes it as “Repunzel and Merida team up to take down the patriarchy and fall in love along the way” and I have never heard anything more accurate! 4/5 stars from me.
I absolutely loved this book! Slow burn romance, found family, feminism, and Aladdin vibes are what you will find in this book. It left off on such a cliff hanger and I cannot wait for the sequel.

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare
This book was so good! The plot was masterfully woven together and everything came together so beautifully in the end. The characters were amazingly realistic and relatable. The world was utterly fascinating. The only problem I had with this book were some small logic issues that didn‘t quite make sense, but overall it was amazing!
This book was..... boring tbh. The romance had no chemistry and was based purely on the fact that both characters were depressed. The characters constantly claimed that they were more than their illnesses but they really weren‘t. It was a bad book with even worse mental health representation. I know this book means a lot to people and I‘m not trying to offend anyone these are just my honest and personal thoughts.
“With a start, he realized that in his vague imaginings of the future Cordelia had always been there, a steady, welcome presence, a warm light in the dark of the unknown.” I ship them so hard😭😭
This book was so good! So many twists and turns that I got whiplash. This literally blew my mind. If you‘re on the fence about reading this book pick it up right now. It absolutely deserves all the hype it gets.
