I read this story with my 9 year old and we both really enjoyed it. It was inspiring to see how Gina learns to use her “overactive imagination” to become a gifted writer with the guidance and encouragement from an amazing, open minded teacher.

Okay, I LOVED this book! I could not adore Tiffy and Leon‘s character more. I‘m going through withdrawals now that I‘m done and what I wouldn‘t give to go back in time and read it for the first time! A perfect light-hearted but beautifully written story that covers important topics.

I‘m a sucker for crazy, quirky grannies, so Millie quickly stole my heart! I enjoyed the story the whole way through and found myself laughing out loud multiple times.

I did a lot of internal screaming/panicking throughout the book! A lot of grimacing, too. I read the last 2/3 of it in one sitting because I didn‘t want to put it down. It is quite graphic in parts. Being someone with both a sensitive heart as well as a love for thrillers, I will need a light hearted read following this story! But a pick nonetheless.

I found the pace of this book to be quite slow, however, I wouldn‘t consider that to be a negative! It was a beautifully written story with wonderful, realistic characters and relationships. Rather than rushing through it, I took my time and truly enjoyed reading it.

I couldn‘t put it down. I found it difficult to read the beginning when Kya is young (6/7) as I myself have a daughter that age and imagining her fending for herself broke my heart in two. I fell in love with Kya almost immediately. To me, this story felt so beautiful and unique.

I flew through this book. Knowing people on the spectrum, I felt Annika‘s character was very well depicted and I loved her the whole way through! A sweet love story. Personally, I felt that the last handful of chapters felt out of place from the rest of the story, but in no way did it spoil the overall feel of the book for me. Still a pick!

This story gave me all the nostalgic first love feelings! My heart physically ached during parts - a sign of great character development in my opinion! I will forever love Eleanor, Park, and their love. I‘ve heard that a lot of people disliked the ending, but personally, I appreciated it. Open-ended. Hopeful.

Mommat Sounds like a good plan experience! I like books that offer that. 5y

This was not a book that I couldn‘t put down - in fact, the opposite. I found I was only able to read little bits at a time before taking a break. Having said that, I still enjoyed it very much so! I felt connected to all of the characters and loved them all. Perhaps I took my time with it because I wanted to savour it.

I read this book in one day because I could not put it down! I really enjoyed the style of writing, especially the way E. Lockhart described strong emotion. I have taken a few days to process the end, and while it isn‘t my favourite, I‘m calling “We Were Liars” a win because I was intrigued and engaged the whole way through.

While I didn‘t like it as much as The Rosie Project, I did find it an enjoyable read. I found it to be a bit slow at times, but it still managed to hold my attention and my love for Don only grew! Looking forward to The Rosie Result.

I almost bailed on it as it started off very slow and kind of boring, but I‘m very glad I didn‘t! Even though I was able to guess most of the twists and turns, to me, that didn‘t make it any less enjoyable! I ended up really enjoying this book.
