This book is magical. I can only hope that the Ringley's really had his beautiful life and that they really had a Rose and Colin to add some flavor.

This was my second book by Erika Marks. She didn't let me down. The characters are genuine and you feel their heart ache. I typically find myself predicting how events will turn out, but Marks did not give anything away. I love the beach setting for most of the novel and could imagine myself listening to the waves.
Been waiting for the paper back for a while now, I have a matching problem ;)
Just finished. I was surprised that it wasn't as sciencey as other Crichton novels. Thrilled that it has many historical references. William Johnson is a character that grew on me, I had my doubts.
I will say I did not appreciate the abrupt ending, I am a big fan of closure and this novel left me hanging a bit. I do recommend if you are a fan of the Wild West, paleontology or humors unscrupulous characters
Many excellent quotes in this book. One of my favorites:"She remembered the lead ammunition in her pocket and offered it to him. 'Your balls, Mr. Darcy?' He reached out and closed her hand around them, and offered, 'They belong to you, Miss Bennet."
