Three quarters of the way done with this book and I'm not scared yet. I like it, but still waiting for the creeps.

I'm kind of between a so-so and a pan on this one... the main character was weak, a dishrag, but maybe that's what Watson intended. If so, well done. I anticipated some of the twists and turns which was disappointing, but at the conclusion I admit to being surprised. Overall, this book made me feel dirty. When I was finished reading, I felt like doing good things and bonding with my kids and anything just to get that taste out of my mouth.
I don't know, Linda! It's so annoying..I guess I have just enough curiosity to keep me going.
I don't know... this book is starting to bug me. The main character is really flaky and a lot of the dialogue is choppy internet exchange. I'm not sure how much longer I can do this. #apothicred #wineandabook
I start my days at 4 am, so I should really go to sleep now, but this is so much more fun. Reading in bed with a glass of 19 Crimes. #bookandadrink #wineandabook #readinginbed
All I wanted to do last night was stay up late reading this book, but I was exhausted and my nerves were frayed from a wretched day at work. So it was lights out by 8:30...First day of Easter break finds me up early and ready to enjoy a few hours with Christina the amnesiac before the house gets moving!
One more day of work and then five blissful days of R&R (Reading and Relaxation) #teacherperks #teacherslovereading
First day on the new job went great. Fed all people and animals in my house, tidied up and started laundry. Now I can get back to the important stuff. (Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout) #beerandbooks
Starting a new job today and I got ready SUPER early, which means I had time to get the first couple pages in. I'm hooked! Now all I want to do is stay home and read!
Gah! Ok! I'm callin' it! Not badly written, not terrible. I tried but I just don't have time to hang around waiting for a story to start. I started flipping through, reading random pages to get the gist and in doing so I think I discovered that I would have invested another couple weeks in this book without ever being truly satisfied. #LitsyPartyofOne
Getting my day started. This is a really slow read for me. I like it but I'm still waiting for something to happen. It's a real departure from the edge of your seat thrillers I've been reading lately, but I'm sticking with it. #LitsyPartyofOne
Took one kid to a track meet, took the other one to do grocery shopping, washed/dried/folded/put away five loads of laundry, walked the dog, ran 4 miles, made dinner for my husband, made separate dinner for my mom...I'm finally ready to put my feet up and get back to my #LitsyPartyofOne
Break from #LitsyPartyofOne to watch Birdman with my son. Because teenagers aren't home very often on Friday nights and when they are they don't always ask mom to chill.
It was a slow start to #LitsyPartyofOne because of all the interruptions..staggered arrivals home of various family members, people wanting to eat...and then there was the rapid dozing off mid sentence. But I think I'm in the groove now.
I'm ready to put on my pajamas and start my #LitsyPartyofOne. Perfect timing for an introvert weekend since I'm taking care of my mom who's fresh out of the hospital and this is what it looks like outside @Ambrosnazzy
Haha! Oh yes, I do so like to be cheerful and nicely dressed for my husband at breakfast as well! #sarahwaters #favoriteline
Just couldn't suspend my disbelief to accept that this guy silently rolled out of his driveway in the middle of the night and successfully disappeared/recreated his life and identity. Nobody was able to find him? Really? And he was able to start and sustain a web design company to make a new living? Nope...
Got out of work early. Two hours til the kids get home. "Shall I read or shall I run?" That is the question.
Had to give up on Blake Crouch's Snowbound because it tickled my disbelief bone a little too hard. Let's see what Sarah Waters has in store for me..
I was skeptical because reviews weren't great but I'm on Chapter 12 and looking forward to chapter 13
I decided to re read this old favorite while on vacation. I'm traveling from a lake effect snow storm in NWPA to the sunny beaches of Venice, FL. Wish me luck getting to the Cleveland Airport ☃️❄️💨
You know you're a #booknerd when you ask your family to stash books in their carry on luggage for you to read on vacation because you can't fit everything you want to bring in your bag 💼😜
You know you're a book nerd when you've spent three days planning what book/s to take on your vacation. Criteria: must be "paper pages" as my young son says, must be long enough to last two weeks and must be properly engaging (but not totally absorbing.) What's your favorite vacation book?
I got this classic favorite of mine out of the library for my son to read and I thought, how much of my life has been measured in these three week increments of library due dates. ❤️❤️#classics #favorites #stephenking #booksireadasateenager
Well written and engaging, but the story was so much on the mundane, what is disappointing about my own life side that it was difficult to read. Definitely not an escape into another world read.
I loved this book until the action/ climax which reminded me of the same predictable endings to animated movies that I don't like. Otherwise a fun and imaginative story with great old photos to enhance the experience.
