I hate quitting. I especially hate quitting a project that I've made a fuss about completing, but reading slumps don't care about your GoodReads goals. Hopefully I'll return and finish someday.
I found this book to be enjoyable in a detached sort of way. Its defining feature is that it has no hero and so relies on humor and drama instead. Whether or not this is sustainable for 700 pages is for another reviewer (ideally my future self) to decide.
