While I enjoyed the short stories, you tend to see how it is the same joke told several different ways. After starting the "novel" version, the humour began to grate. May try again, but may be a while...

While it is easy to see it as just a series of gut wrenching scenes of sex & violence, by the end the theme of disassociation & 80s decadence means the book takes on a whole new feel. A hard one, but good depending on your take.
While the use of zombie tropes was well done and researched, the tone itself was too clinical and, sadly, boring.
An engrossing read, that tackles the primal degradation of the residents of the titular high rise in the same cold detachment as the characters themselves.
