After going over more than half of this book, I am giving up. I don't know what hooks people on to this book. It's not doing anything for me!! Maybe if I come back to it later, I might feel differently!!

Okay. So I don't usually recommend reading several books at a time. But I wasn't expecting all of my held library books to be available at once. I am ending up reading this one before reading the actual magic of tidying up book thanks to it still not being available to borrow from the library!!

If there is a book to get lost in, this is the one!! Lucy's thoughts have an honesty that you end up connecting with. You are privy to it in a manner that does not repel or disgust you, which is usually what happens when an author digs deep into a character!!

"She felt his absence in her bones.."
The temper of the book kept reminding me of Ian McEwan's Atonement. Don't get me wrong. The narrative is entirely different. Yet, I kept feeling that way. Which is actually a good feeling. I liked this book very much.

Biographies of celebrated and influential scientists. I am endlessly fascinated by their stories.

Read this only if you like a chatty book once in a while. The conversational tone is not only fun but also mixed with a few social observations. Okay ! Enough said. I didn't have a single dull moment.

I wish I had read her books before watching her series. It's a treat to read
