I totally get why people didn't like this book. The H is sexist, the rules of the MC are sexist, and there is a crazy amount of slut-shaming.
The reason I didn't bail and why I ultimately like this book is because Wylde is completely aware of the rampant misogyny and calls it out. In every (good) sexual encounter both parties are enthusiastically consenting, and the h sees people working in the sex trade as being worthy of respect and happiness.
