This book is a seemingly endless parade of gut punches. It's almost too good at devastating you. #24in48 #readathon
Went through some Eric Stephenson Comics for the start of #24in48 last night and again this morning. Finally read the fist arc of Nowhere Men and the first two arcs of They're Not Like Us
"...opening up those floodgates has also made it possible for the storytelling narrative to diversify and shift. I like more choices. I like being able to choose better stories, instead of being forced to endure shitty the ones or go without."
I'm midway through this book of essays, and "The Increasingly Poor Economics of Penning Problematic Stories" encapsulates my view on so much entertainment.
Saturday night = two hour pokéwalk and listening to songs from the Hamilton cast recording as I read the associated chapters ???
I just finished the first section of the book and am loving it. I've been reading this in little nibbles to make it last longer
At this point, I will read anything Nina Lacour is involved in.
