Misery | Stephen King

Finished Mr. Mercedes last night and decided to continue the Stephen King's wave. So, I brought Misery along in my first walk by the river (after the pandemics shut us down for 2 months in Portugal). Have you enjoyed it?

Mistermandolin I loved it. A real page-turner. The suspense builds and builds and King is a master at ratcheting up the tension. Sometimes I feel his novels are a bit ‘flabby‘ - Duma Key springs to mind. But Misery isn‘t overlong and is all the better for that. Great pick. 5y

The Shining | Stephen King

I guess I can call it a Stephen King phase, no? Read The Shining and was really captivated by the journey of Jack's character. Now I'm deep diving in several others from the author (Sr. Mercedes is the Portuguese version of Mr. Mercedes).
