Tana French dives into the experience of adolescent girls and their friendships so deeply, I felt like I was reading my own diary at times. Took me a bit to get into this one, but once I was, I was hooked.

Intense, beautiful read. I had to put it down several times to recover from the various traumas the characters went through, which is a testament to Gyasi‘s incredible writing. Not a light read but a worthwhile one.
