Finally got down to some Jane Austen reading! I didn't expect to like them so much so that I had to go and get my own copies!

For my first Jane Austen book.. I loved it so happy to have given Jane Austen a shot! Definately recommend for a first Jane Austen novel, it's a short and easy read! Especially if you have a copy with added notes to help with understanding Old English sayings.. This is a great book for those who like happy endings and second chances!

Gabourey Sidibe is just plain awesome! Her story is not short in inspiration and humour. She just proves that you can go from living in a one room apartment with family to landing the staring role of a movie! This is a great book for anyone working towards achieving their dreams!

I really liked this book. I think it is definitely worth the read, be warned it is very graphic. This book deals with a lot of issues with regards to race, poverty, incest, teenage pregnancy to name a few. It is the book behind the film Precious.

I loved this book, it is going down as one of my all time favourites!
