The might qualify me as Queen of the Nerds, but I waited a month for this book and I'm dying to read it!

Little Bee is checking out my weekend purchases. I've been waiting and waiting for Bowlaway, but the Iain Reid was an impluse buy.

This collection of short stories is surprising and engrossing. I read a few of the stories over and over. It's going to stay with you, if you read it.

I'm about half-way through this book and I'm making it last. Gorgeous, dreamy language with just enough of the seedy underbelly of Florida to make it thrilling. I can't put it down for long.

Barnes and Noble splurge. I'm in the mood for some short stories and I couldn't decide between the two. Nothing for it, but to get both!

I have mixed feelings about reading what is likely to be the best book of the year in the first days of January.

I've never read the original version. I think it's time.
