pickIf you're unfamiliar with what happened in New Orleans during and after Hurricane Katrina, then this book is an excellent introduction to the events as they unfolded, broadly and for various individuals. I was mostly interested in how the individuals highlighted here eventually returned to recover both themselves and their city. Obviously, this is a difficult read, and still relevant to social and political discourse in the USA. 💚💚💚
Settling in for a cozy evening with a fire, Diet Coke, and another graphic novel. Anyone read any of these and can recommend?
