This book is a traditional whodunnit read set in a small village in Cumbria. Set in December it was a perfect seasonal mystery for me, although I did have my suspicions who the murderer was and I was correct, it‘s no Agatha Christie but is an easy enjoyable read. #thechristmaskiller #alexpine
Nearly half way through The Christmas Killer and so far really enjoying it! Small village mystery sort of reminds me of midsomer murders😆
I loved every minute of this book! Such a great psychological thriller kept me hooked from start to finish. Would definitely recommend📖
Enjoying #theperfectgirlfriend so far! Juliette is a memorable character to say the least.

I really liked this book. I like how straight from the start you knew the children were killed by the nanny and the book sort of worked backwards and showed how the events came to happen. The only thing is I was so built up for the ending I was dissatisfied by how little it was. I wanted to know more! I had so many questions still!

So I‘ve just finished this book and it‘s been absolutely brilliant!... I loved the way it followed each character (Kate was definitely my fave) and the ending was amazing... although nearer the end I did see it coming. I would definitely recommend giving it a read📖 #TheChild #FionaBarton
I didn‘t manage to finish this book. I thought the story line was just to slow moving for me and the way the author wrote didn‘t interest me at all. I truthfully thought it was boring.
I‘m nearly half way through The Child at the moment and I‘ve got to say it‘s brilliant up to now. I love the different perspectives that are portrayed throughout the book and the way it goes back and forth keeps you connected. It‘s so hard to put down you want to just keep reading and reading because you need to know what‘s going to happen next!

When a paragraph in an evening newspaper reveals a decades-old tragedy, most readers barely give it a glance. But for three strangers, it‘s impossible to ignore.
For one woman, it‘s a reminder of the worst thing that ever happened to her.
For another, it reveals the dangerous possibility that her darkest secret is about to be discovered.
And for the third, a journalist, it‘s the first clue in a hunt to uncover the truth.

I absolutely loved this book! The way it flutters back and forth to the characters different perspectives keeps it interesting for me, and I really enjoyed the plot of the whole book. It kept me interested all the way until the end. I didn‘t want it to finish I wanted to know more. It‘s a definite must read.
So far so good! Really enjoying this read so far📖
I‘m in love with my new clip on booklight it‘s brilliant for bed time reading💤
