"How do we know when something is menacing? What cues is that something is not innocent?" My goodness, I loved this one. Could not put it down and read it in two sittings (had to put it down bc life...) the language is beautiful. The story is tragic. I love it very much. ????

I really liked this book! I did figure out the whodunit sort of early, but I was unsure enough to still find it suspenseful. 🌟🌟🌟

Sookie loves to watch Mommy read. I've read each and every Charlaine Harris novel, with the exception of the last Midnight Texas book.

Here's to hoping my kid is never possessed...

callunakeep Haha! My mom once told me that she watched The Exorcist when I was three years old. She said that for weeks afterward she would imagine that she felt colder in my room and would freak out a little bit! Hahaha!😝 8y
LastPaigeFirst Oh yeah. I'm so there right now 8y

Horrorstor: A Novel | Grady Hendrix
Mehso-so

It certainly wasn't bad, but I felt like there were unanswered questions. It's a 2.5 Stars for me. Had potential, but didn't pull through.

"This Store Partner seems to be suffering from the delusion that every conversation about facial hair grooming requires him to invoke the First Amendment. I am not sure this Store Partner understands the meaning of the First Amendment."

LastPaigeFirst I read this page immediately after seeing @Pete's post about beards. Haha 8y
Classic_Wirginia Just that quote is enough for me to add this to my TBR list. 8y
LastPaigeFirst It's pretty good so far! I'm about halfway through it and it definitely keeps me guessing. I hope the ending is great. I sense a twist coming soon. 8y

I laughed so hard I cried on, like, every other page. Laughed so hard, my husband thought I was crazy(ier) and I couldn't explain why I was laughing bc I was laughing too hard! I cannot recommend this book enough, especially if you have Generalize Anxiety Disorder!

Gayan This was the funniest book I ever read. The Serial Killer on the Other Side of the Bathroom Door may be my favorite thing ever. 8y

I seriously cannot wait to my hands on this hot new book. Pun intended 🙃 this excerpt at the end of my copy of NOS4A2 is not enough. P.S. NOS4A2 is the best book I've ever read. Ever.

Wow. This is one that you hate to see end, and it has you from the beginning. So so good.

NatalieR Met Josh at book signing when this came out. Most memorable author event ever! Audience was blindfolded and his band played dramatic music while he read from the book. So theatrical! 🎹⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 9y
