This was such a great mix of first love and suspense. Having Carly, an American-Mexican lead character was so great, and I feel that Hispanics who read the book will really understand the degree of importance that she placed on family.

I cannot talk enough about how good this book was. I had so many theories, and while some panned out, some where just so wrong that I never saw the truths coming. I love when a book is able to surprise me like that. I feel like it happens so rarely that when it does That book automatically gets 5 ⭐️ from me!
