I decided on “pick” because I definitely wanted to know the ending. I‘m glad I finished it BUT, I‘m left wanting to know more. I guess that‘s a good thing! Will there be a sequel?! I think the overall storyline is a little disturbing. Why does Jack feel so strongly about targeting whom he wants to? It‘s not quite explained and it‘s a bit morbid. Wish the last chapter was dedicated to the present life.

Bought this one in the airport last week before heading to sunny Florida! So far, so good! Brought to the beach and had a lull due to coming down with a bad sinus cold! Anyone else find it difficult to read while sick?! I‘m halfway through!

Is this a dark read? I‘m headed on vacation and I don‘t want to be depressed by bringing this! 🤣

The storyline kept me interested and in suspense but the end was a bit weak I thought. Perhaps there was so much hype about this book that I expected to be wowed more than I actually was.
