The book unfolds as does Eleanor. She is a hard to understand character but compelling. She begins to connect with people after bearing terrible trauma on her own. This is a beautiful book on mental health, emotions, and the importance of being loved and loving yourself. Fixing yourself is a complicated thing and Eleanor gives hope that no one is too broken.
