It occured to me that I haven't updated this in ages, so thought I'd share that this is my current audiobook. I love this series & the narrator is amazing.

Picked up The Rememberance of Earth's Past trilogy by Liu Cixin at a local book store yesterday. I had checked out The Three Body Problem from the library & started it, but had to return it before I finished. I was confident enough that I'd enjoy the series that I decided to buy it rather than wait in line for it again at the library. #bookhaul #sff
Of course the two library books I started had to be returned before I finished. Boo. Currently out of the library. #library #libraryhaul #bookhaul
Started this the other day. I've been wanting to read this for ages and had to wait a long time for my turn from the library.
Library haul. I know the kind of reader I am and that I'm going to have to take most of these back before I get around to reading them. There's something comforting about having a bunch of books out at the same time. Options, I guess? #bookhaul #library #libraryhaul
Not my favorite Vowell, probably because it wasn't what I was expecting.
Just started this on August 4th on audio. It's been a while since I've listened to any of Vowell's books. I forgot how much fun it can be - her voice is so perfect for the material and it has good production calues.
Really enjoyed this. Apparently, it's the first in a series...after the way it ended, I'm not sure where else it could possibly go, but we shall see.
An incredibly important read for anyone who cares about trans issues.
Started listening to the audio book of Whipping Girl by Julia Serano last night. It's read by Serano and I really like the way she talks.
Finally finished this manga series. This is sort heartbreaking and sweet. Recently started the anime.
This was an intresting audiobook listen.
I picked up this book because it's supposedly similar to Ann Lechie's work, and I LOVED her Imperial Radch series. I can see where the comparison comes from, and I don't mean that in a bad way. Ninefox Gambit has a bunch of twists and turns and I look forward to continuing with the series.
I had expected to be able to get through this manga in a couple sittings because I can usually get through comics and manga pretty fast. That didn't happen in this case, not because I thought Orange was bad, but because I was reading it right before bed when I was really tired and couldn't focus for very long. And I discovered that this sort of thing works very well for me in that sort of situation.
Looking forward to the second volume.
I'm relatively newbie to Laura Jane Grace and her band, Against Me! But after hearing her interview on NPR, I became interested in her memoir. Listening to the audio book now.
I started reading this in physical form, but ultimately finished it in audio book form because I was having trouble getting through the physical book. I think that speaks more to how I've trained my brain to handle non-fiction than the book itself. An interesting look at introverts iin a world geared towards extroverts.
A friend suggested the anime version of Orange. When I found the manga version for sale, I thought I'd read that first.
Started reading this in physical form, but was having trouble getting through it. Perhaps I'll get through it easier if I listen to the audiobook?
Hello there, Litsy! I opened my account a while ago, but haven't actually used it. I must admit that I'm not entirely sure what this app is for (is there seriously no website edition I can pull up on my laptop/ desktop?). I recently got a new phone and thought I'd give this app a try and see how I liked it. I recently for Ninefox Gambit from the library and am going to give it a try. Here's hoping I can break out of this reading slump.
