It talks about his struggles with the right and wrong and society, and he happens to believe that he is an outsider he is in a gang called the greasers, and they have a problem with the socs I really liked this book because it was fun to read and easy to understand it tells a good story as well The main theme of the outsiders is identity versus group identity.
