I really enjoyed this. The main character goes through so much but remains strong and eventually makes her own way. Any Hamilton fans will enjoy this.
Waited a long time for this one to come in at my library. Can‘t wait to dig into it!! #book17of2021
About two-thirds of the way through...gosh I just love Kristen Hannah! #Book15of2021
Only a couple chapters left. I made up my mind chapters ago. #Jacobdidit Book #12 of 2021
Read this for a book club. I found some relevant points throughout but overall found it to be very repetitive. Book #10 of 2021
Beautifully written and heartbreaking. First book I‘ve read that takes the perspective of the North Vietnamese throughout decades of war and pain. I was immediately drawn into the lives of this family that suffered so much but still fought for the ones they loved. #8of2021
This book was ‘okay‘. A quick read but never really materialized into the thriller I was expecting. I didn‘t find the writing especially intriguing, and while I was interested enough to finish I wouldn‘t put it on a list of favorites.

Book #6 of 2021! So far I like it. I think it‘s taking a multiple personality route, but I could be wrong!
So far the main character is really irritating me. But the story is good enough to keep me interested!
Wonderful book written from two perspectives. Sitting here in tears as I just finished it. A part of WWII that I wasn‘t aware of, and one that I won‘t now forget. Book #3 of 2021
I enjoyed this book, although it was a little predictable. I was drawn in enough to finish it in a day and a half. I enjoy historical fiction, and this pandemic-themed book was a nice, quick read to start of the year.
