🌟🌟🌟 A retelling of Beauty & the Beast seemed very interesting, I enjoyed this book and the story. I like the authors imagination and how she retold a classic tale, I just felt some pieces of the story were confusing and found myself having to go back and reread a few parts to understand what was going on. It was good, but didn‘t wow me.

I tried to stay interested and I just can‘t, maybe I‘m just not in the mood for this kind of book right now 🤷🏼‍♀️

In honor of Valentine‘s Day and because I have never read this book! I had to start this one today ❤️❤️

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This book was so good, completely blown away yet again by another Kristin Hannah novel. The way she tells the historical past of the story is done in such a unique way.

Great story and really enjoyed the dual storyline from the present and the past. It was great discovering how they were connected. The beginning half of the book was a little slow for me and took me a little time to feel hooked by the story. Glad I stuck with it, I enjoyed reading it through the end to see how the characters lives turned out!

It‘s not completely book related, but I am always reading while my husband is watching football so kind of right?!

Loved this book, but I loved the movie a little more! There are some differences between both which made them both special in their own way.

This book just went from good to even better! Recommend for anyone that loves a great family story that involves family secrets from the past.

I started this book not knowing much about it and thinking it would be a good read at this time of year .... so far love it! ❤️There is a historical fiction story line along with a present day story that was a pleasant surprise, and all though there is a great holiday story happening, the story that takes place during WWII makes this book even better! I thought the story was great and I really enjoyed the back and forth between 1942 and present day (well 2002). The ending fell a little flat for me with a few lingering questions. Over all I thought it was a great book and certainly kept me engaged throughout the whole book

Finished one book this morning and starting the next .... tissues on hand for this one!

Although it kept me interested until the end, I thought it was a little hard to follow by the way it was told in reverse. I am still feeling like I don‘t know exactly what happened in the end and still want more. This was my first book by this author and I will definitely try more!
