Probably my favorite read of 2021 so far. It is extremely well written and the story draws you in from page one. While I loved the book, it was a hard read and I kept the Kleenex close.

I picked this book to read for book club hoping it would be light and fun with many interesting characters due to its title. Instead, I feel like I just finished reading a trashy novel in which each chapter says the same thing over and over. Kind of embarrassed to have chosen the book, but we will enjoy dinner together anyway and perhaps discuss people WE have met on vacation as we dream about going on vacation!
This was perfect Thanksgiving-road-trip book! Love the characters and the description of the town. This is book 2 of a 3-book series (book 3 coming in Jan 2021). I read book 1 after I read Mistletoe & Mr. Right because I really enjoyed the characters. It was pretty clean ounce you get past the first couple pages with a few choice words thrown in here and there...which almost don‘t fit. Anyway, fun easy read that transports you to Alaska!
Having been to Uganda to work with some of the lost and abandoned, I could picture so many of the circumstances & places written about. The characters and their chatter transport me right back to Uganda.
It‘s long, but definitely worth the read. I learned so much about the founding of our country and feel like I have a better understanding of society during the time.
What a fun book filled with friendship, adventure & encouragement keep loving life & doing new things into the golden years! The characters really come to life as do the cities and countries through which the travel. I loved escaping with these three ladies.
This was a great read. Sweet. Funny. Well written.
I wasn‘t so sure I would enjoy reading about Navy Seals, but within two pages I was drawn into this book. It is well written and definitely left with me extra respect for our special forces.
