No spoilers here, but who has a copy?!

I met author Sarah Perry tonight. She was incredibly inspiring and talked about her passion for Essex and talked about exploring characters that have both faith and reason in their life.

This is already gripping at 30 pages in!

Is anyone else out there collecting these? They're so beautiful and some of the stories I haven't even read before, so I'm excited to start!

This book was incredibly well written. I could almost feel every shift in the weather as the wind blew and it rained across the Loney. The narrative was chilling and moving in equal measure. I've been recommending it left, right, and centre!

I love Tina Fey, but I found myself bored in places and it lacked any kind of 'memoir' style revelations that I had hoped for. Plus, I really wanted to read about Mean Girls and her vision behind that, and there was very little mention!

Incredible. I could barely put this down. I thought about it for days and weeks after I had finished. I'm not sure I could handle the film, but I'd lend this to anyone.

This book reduced me to a blubbering mess. I really cared about the characters and it definitely made me think about how I live my life.

Only 34% in (bless you, kindle) but this book is set to change the way I think about life, death and he journey in-between

I just couldn't get into the style of writing. It felt disjointed and the language was incredibly amateur.

I loved the humour that Tropper injects into the narrative, often when you least expect it. It also made me feel a lot more normal with regards to my messed up family, and reminded me that no one is perfect!

Extremely emotional read, but also immensely rewarding. I feel like I should go tell everyone I love why I do and then start being nicer to myself, too.
