This is a novella-length introduction to the Royal Spyness books. They're a fun read, and the characters are delightful. As this was written after the initial books in the series, there are set-ups and callbacks to things which will happen in the future.

I love me some John McWhorter! His Lexicon Valley podcast is great and he makes modern linguistics so much fun! This is what academia should be like!
