11/22/63: A Novel | Stephen King

Pickpick

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: This doesn‘t read like your standard King novel at all. For me that‘s what made this one so readable. Pick this one up! #Tome #TimeTravel #AlternateHistory

keithmalek I felt like he got lazy at the end and wanted to wrap it up too quickly. 5y
BritanyA @keithmalek yes, I did wonder how he was going to wrap it up with less than 200 PGS to go. I still liked it. Did you? 5y
keithmalek @BritanyA I was loving it...until then. The rapid ending ruined it for me. 5y

⭐️⭐️⭐️: I‘m a die hard Bachelor Nation fan! This book was surprisingly nothing to write home about. Most of the secrets she‘s spills are already out there. She also comes off a tad bit of a bitter Betty.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was an odd book. It was an adorable picador modern classic edition which was tiny and for in the palm of my hand. The story of the Lisbon sisters was strange and like looking into a thick coke bottle. Still not sure what to make of it.

Twocougs It‘s certainly a different read. Felt so odd when I finished it. 5y

Scorpioseah I gave a 4-star too, will be finding time for her other novels too. Just started listening to the bride test by Helen Hoang from the library. 5y

⭐️⭐️⭐️: meh— was a bit bored with the middle and damn, could the author throw any more plot devices at this novel?

Hazel0303 I agree with what you said here! I did I give it a higher rating because the end helped the bad-ish taste in my mouth that I had through most of it - but YES. I totally agree with you. Everything, but the kitchen sink was in it. Most of the time it was unsettling to read, but after the middle section it turned around for me enough. 5y
BritanyA @Hazel0303 YES!!! It would‘ve been even lower had it not engaged me towards the end. 5y
