This book was hard to begin, but easy to finish. Worth the read one hundred percent.

The problem with following up a masterful heroine to villain transition in a new novel is how terribly hard it is to read the villain's perspective when you're no longer rooting for her. It becomes a touch wearisome. I'm only a few chapters in and I'm having to take a break because it feels a little like trudging through mud. I'll return to it and post a full review soon.
Honestly losing my mind laughing at #TRS Tumblr feeds , I might have to post a few.
The Rose Society does something I've been exploring with in my own writing so artfully that it left me flipping through pages fast enough to get paper cuts. I can hardly believe that by the end of this book, Adelina is the villain. I'm so excited to see where the next book goes with this awful/exciting/terrifying decline. Masterful storytelling! 😍
