What I'm reading at 7am. Hopefully it fulfills my horror craving.

Just some cheerful reading.

A novel that has spirit, I Am Still Alive shows the struggle of one girl and her determination to survive. With the very real threats of nature closing in around her, Jess finds her will to live in the possibility of revenge against the people who stranded her in the wilderness.
Lunch break! Enjoying some luxury while reading about survival suffering. #ARC
The sign I did for our bookstore. Based off the wonderful #CuriousIguana bookstore in Maryland, where they do amazing signs.
For our store book club we are reading Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann.
Taking a break and filling in my ARC reading schedule (or hopes) in my book journal. It's a long shot trying to read them all, but I'm giving it my best!
Is posting covers of NYR books considered a spoiler? ;D
Hi, this book made me cry.
Though it is quite upbeat, just seeing the subject so casually approached really touched me.
Finished reading this amazing book a few days ago and I'm finally getting a chance to put it in my book journal. Creepy and full of action, it was just what I needed.

Got around to finishing I, Tituba, Black Witch of Salem a few weeks ago after an incident in the bath that left it and another book drying on a hanger for weeks. The pages are still a little pink (was using a bath bomb) and the book is twice the size it was. RIP
A bath and a book.
So far this ARC is excellent. I find myself gravitating towards it everytime I have a free moment.
I am super sick and slept all day, so naturally after some food and medicine, I'm wide awake at midnight.
Being kept company by this awesome ARC. Started off a little slow, but it definitely picked up.
Getting my ARC list in my planner ready and preparing my book journal.
Procrastination at it's finest!

Found the last of the chocolate I got from Denver Comic Con last year!
Aged (and possibly all powerful) caramel, anyone?
I have so much to read, but I couldn't resist after being surrounded by books for inventory!
Just started this and it's fantastic already. Perfect night in.
Tom Miller's novel, The Philosopher's Flght, flings us into an American history altered by the special abilities of women.
America is fighting World War I with male soldiers on the front lines and female philosophers flying in for R&E. Philosophers walk a fine line this world has between magic and science, allowing them to bend chemicals to their will or defy gravity. Robert Weekes wants to walk (fly) that line, not march in ranks with a gun.
The Immortalists is a thoughtful written piece about characters who doom themselves more often than not, similar to avoiding a fall and getting hurt worse in the process. The pieces were set in motion when Varya, Daniel, Klara, and Simon as children visit a fortune teller. Whether it was because of her insight into the days of their deaths that set them on their paths, or that they were destined to those lives anyways is up to the us to decide.
Finally getting to start this. Been wanting to read it for years now. Already got 30 pages in and it's devastating.
It's been a snowy, busy day, but we just got this in and after skimming I've decided I need to read this ARC!
Finally whittled down my Halloween reads to these six.
Barely put this down just long enough to get more fuel for my binge reading.
Trying to whittle down my collection while also making my Halloween stack. Need all the energy I can get.
Finished listening to this last weekend and I'm still processing it. Beautiful and haunting, I can't stop thinking about it.
