My first Jodi Picoult book! I enjoyed the audiobook immensely! The two narrators gave each character different voices. The elephant facts were amazing—I now have rekindled my love of this animal.

I have tried and tried to get into the third book...to no avail. I am about 3/4 through and cannot complete it. Sad, because I loved the first, was slow to engage with the second but I loved it, too.

I found the descriptions and character building to be well written. However, I struggled with how slowly things moved along. Perhaps it is more that things in my life were busy and I was slow to read?? Probably the latter.

In regards to the trilogy commentary: I read the second but bailed on the third.
