Cinder and it's sequels are probably my favorite YA series of all time, so I'm a little biased 😅
Cinder is super relatable, struggling under the abuse of her family + ablism. Her wicked step-mother is both the most evil + sympathetic version of the character I've ever seen. Kai is swoon-worthy + Iko is a hoot. Also the vast majority of the cast are Asian, which is refreshing.
One warning: being a retelling, the plot is predictable.
