so-soWasn‘t a bad book but VERY depressing. Doesn‘t let up the mood for even a paragraph. Some time line issues that I honestly would have overlooked if they weren‘t pointed out by some good read fellows.
The pain the woman is in after loosing her little girl is palpable. (Jacket info)
I found the character development a little too cut and dry.
All in all it‘s a good book if you don‘t want to think too hard. Definitely a chick lit feel to it.

pickRead this in two days :) Such a great intro to the season :) loved it so so so much I then listened to “the Christmas Box” on audio not sure if I‘ve ever cried so much to a book. Do you guys enjoy audiobooks as well ?

so-soAbout halfway through but was hoping for more funny not just her being funny about disability all the time. Overall good and quick read but feels like all the jokes are the same.
Now I'm struggling with what to read next
1) emperor of all maladies
2) witches of NY
3) we are never meeting in real life
Suggestions ?
pickLoved this book. At one point I actually forgot to breathe ! Excellent changes of pace every now and then just adds to the suspense !

I listened to "all the books" podcast and a few weeks back, either liberty or Rebecca mention a book with sisters fighting for a position (queen ? ) someone said "give me the thing" and liked how no one cared about feelings lol

Such a great read. Loved the pace and how it spans nearly 3 decades in about 300 pages

Love this book but I sometimes feel like the author uses pronouns like "him" too often in a paragraph and I can get confused. Anyone else with this problem?

pickThis was soooo good..... The tales are so dark and she's so funny! Especially loved the line when describing someone's mother in the story "..... Who was unlikely to have been influenced by anything softer than a granite wall" I love that Atwood has a dark, sarcastic sense of humour like me :)
