Yay! I successfully completed my second #24in48 readathon. I finished two books, one audiobook, and several assigned article readings for school.

I‘m a bit behind on #24in48 since I had to work today but I‘ve managed to get to nearly 4.5 hours so far. For Hour 12: Fantastic First Lines, here is the start to Terrier by Tamora Pierce. I think I would probably say the same thing if I had to raise the rambunctious, mischievous child George undoubtedly was.
I‘ve decided that for my second time participating in the #24in48 readathon, I am going to revisit some of my childhood favorites. When picking these out I was reminded just how much I skewed towards fantasy books as a child and teen. I was especially fond of stories that reimagined classic fairytales. #tamorapierce #garthnix #shannonhale #scottwesterfeld
Completed my first #24in48 readathon just in time for bed. I finished two audiobooks and a graphic novel and made good progress on two print books.
Hour 36 of #24in48: Bookish Stuff. Two quote cuff bracelets from JezebelCharms on Etsy. One quote is by Mr. Darcy in "Pride and Prejudice" and the other by Jane in "Jane Eyre."
Seven hours read for the #24in48 readathon. Most of those hours have been spent listening to the audiobook of "Because of Miss Bridgerton" by Julia Quinn. It's not my favorite of Quinn's books but it is still entertaining and an easy listen.
Taking a break from cleaning and audiobooks to read non-fiction at the pool. I heard about "If Mayors Ruled the World" by Benjamin Barber on the Ted Radio Podcast forever ago but I haven't had the time to read it yet. #24in48, #24in48readathon
My shelves at the moment consist mostly of assigned reading for grad school. Most of my books are with my parents as I don't have room for them in my apartment 😢 #24in48
