⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book felt a bit flat to be honest. I felt like it was rushed and the ending felt like a fairy tale. And a fairy tale ending didn‘t fit the overall plot. It makes for a good discussion piece on family structure for a college or high school setting. Plus this book needed a self harm trigger warning. I can‘t say I‘d recommend this one. #wouldnotrecommend

I don't really know where to start with this one except maybe Charles deserves most everything that happened to him. And the book gets to be a bit thick and hard to trudge thru. Its well written but there is too much detail and not enough story. #wouldnotrecommend ⭐⭐⭐
