so-so

4/5 stars.

I couldn't really bring myself to give this book a poor rating, even though the later half of it was a bit hard to swallow. It's not terribly fun sitting through a book featuring a girl being unrequitedly in love with a guy who isn't good for/to her, with me shouting at her all the while to just move on. Otherwise, the characters were wonderful, the style was great, and the plot was cute.

Loved the idea of a YA about winning the lottery with tale of love intertwined in it. The writing was beautiful and I think most people can relate to a story of seemingly unrequited love. Really enjoyed this read 😊💵
