From this, I read the essay “On Fairy Stories” and the short story “Leaf by Niggle” for my #WellReadMom bookclub, and then read the other two selections to mark the book as read. :) I really enjoyed Derek Jacobi‘s narration of Leaf on Audible.

For #wellreadmom #bookclub. I don‘t think I‘ve actually ever read the whole thing, but what a delight! I am ready to read the rest in this series!
Since I am not a quick reader, it feels extra sweet to finish a long classic. Even better the second time around. My poor copy is destined for the trash bin after our #wellreadmom #bookclub meeting because it is in about 10 pieces by this point. ❤️
I started this last August for #WellReadMom bookclub that originally was set for June but has been pushed back to August. I loved being able to read it slowly. I am so glad I read it.
Got up at 6 to finish the last 23 cantos ahead of this morning‘s #wellreadmom bookclub. So happy I read this. This is the ultimate of ending on a high note. :)
