The Heart of Midlothian is a mosaic, formed in coloured granite setts, built into the pavement near the West Door of St Giles High Kirk in the High Street section of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Together with brass markers, it records the position of the 15th-century Old Tolbooth, demolished in 1817, which was the administrative centre of the town, a prison, and one of several sites of public execution.

So hard to like the characters, I only liked one! I didn‘t like how the main character sort of stumbled into prison and took no responsibility for it... some interesting historical aspects but didn‘t learn as much as I would have liked since Connelly didn‘t get into much about fascism or Oswald (intentionally but I know nothing about this...)
