pickI‘m disappointed that it took me so long to finish this book, but I‘m glad I stuck with it. I‘ve always been a fan of Walter Dean Myers books and this one was just as good as the others I‘ve read of his! Definitely a good book to pick up.

“Tags” by the late Walter Dean Myers, the fifth story in this anthology, is written in the format of a short one-act play (a fun touch of variety for an anthology). The story is powerful and creative. Much like the first story in this anthology, “Tags” is layered with meaning and brilliantly constructed.
