Like watching a Real Housewives reunion, this book was super entertaining but at some point it all goes south. One part was a bit too graphic ( for me) and the aftershocks became the catalyst for some real melodrama that I found more grating than gratifying. #ALC #NetGalley #TryIt
pickKatie Reus has an amazing writing style. In this short but eventful read, she was able to pack so much of everything - thriller, murder, romance and friendship. I completely loved her work and would definitely try out the rest of the series, too!😁

Ever tried erasure poetry? A black marker and page of print are all you need. It‘s also a way to create from damaged books that can‘t be repaired and are headed for a recycle bin. Erasing all the words except those that formed a poem in my head, I wrote an erasure poem about murder at a literary reading tonight.
