Yea, I was worried about this one; I have developed an allergy to this author and should have known better. THAT and naive-but-wise artificial life beings? NOT my jam. I might DNF. I just don‘t care. #tobsummercamp2021

Ruthiella Usually I push through for TOB books even though I know I‘ll dislike it (Jenny Offhill, Jesse Ball, Lauren Groeff, etc. 😖) I feel your pain. I liked this a lot, but I like the author a lot and was predisposed to like it. 4y

BarbaraBB I know what you mean. Like @Ruthiella I do like Ishiguro but there are ToB authors I don‘t like and yet I feel obliged to read them because of the ToB, just like you. Kudos for reading him again! 4y
